CAR-10 XH Buffer - 6.5 ounces
Extra-Heavy model for suppressed weapons, or for maximum recoil reduction in non-suppressed guns.
This product is specifically recommended by Magpul for use with their carbine stocks on .308 ARs. CAR-10 XH buffers work great with any using a standard 7" carbine buffer tube.
CAR-10 XH buffers are shorter and heavier than standard carbine buffers. Constructed of 303 Stainless Steel with reciprocating Tungsten anti-bounce internal weights.
Heavy Buffers reduce felt recoil for the shooter, and minimize wear and tear on the gun. Many customers have reported that installing a CAR-10 XH buffer significantly increased the reliability of their weapon.
We recommend using our custom .308 Carbine Buffer Springs with these buffers. These springs are manufactured specifically for use with CAR-10/CAR-10 XH buffers. OEM springs and aftermarket springs (including Sprinco ROYGBIV) may cause malfunctions. 'Flat-Wire' springs are not recommended for any application.
Includes a Stainless Steel roll pin for a lifetime of trouble-free performance.
Note: Not compatible with AR-15s! This buffer is only for use in .308 ARs with a standard 7" deep AR-15 carbine receiver extension (buffer tube).
DO NOT USE A CAR-10 XH buffer in any gun with an A5 buffer tube! Damage/injury/mayhem will result.
If you have an ArmaLite/VLTOR A5 extended length tube (7⅝"deep) or a Magpul UBR Gen2 stock I recommend an XH Carbine Buffer.

Note: We cannot guarantee proper function with subsonic ammo. There are significant differences in specifications among the various brands of ammo and firearms manufacturers. Some guns will run great with almost any ammo, other guns may not function reliably with any subsonics. This is all beyond our control.
